Trying to find out more about John Flaxman senior(1726–1803) "well known as a moulder and seller of plaster casts at the sign of the Golden Head, New Street". He gets overshadowed by his son, also John. But it would seem from these images that selling plaster casts was a popular business aimed at all classes.
