Marianne Rush (d. 1814?).
Watercolour of Lady Walpole's Summer House
Continuing the theme of Illustrated Sculpture I am posting this drawing by the enigmatic Marianne Rush.
Difficult to date but almost certainly pre 1805. It is possible that she was related to the Rev. John Rush the vicar of Chelsea old church.
Lifted from the excellent blog put together by Dave Walker of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Library - a must visit site highly recommended for anyone interested in the history of West London
